Kenneth Ray Shore, 79, of Anderson, SC passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born October 9, 1939 in Anderson, SC, he was a son of the late Clarence Eugene and Hattie Brown Shore. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Clarence Eugene Shore, Jr. and Wilton A. Shore. Kenneth was a member of Temple Baptist Church and loved the car sales industry in his earlier years. He worked for 32 years at Foundry and Steel.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Ann Sprouse Shore of Anderson; daughters, Denise Bowen (Mark) of Anderson, SC and LeAnne Shore McCormack (Shane) of Columbia, SC; brother, Glenn Shore (Lillian) of Anderson, SC; three grandchildren, Kendra Gainey, Kameron O’Barr and Cabe McCormack and five great-grandchildren, Karter, Khloe, Phillip, Luke and Kase; nephew, Mark Shore and niece, Debbye Bradley.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Saturday, October 13, 2018 at The McDougald Funeral Home. The funeral service will be in the chapel at 3:00pm Sunday with Dr. Steve Hurte and Rev. Bruce Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Temple Baptist, Carolina Bible College, 2905 Standridge Road, Anderson, SC 29625.
