Peter Patterson Helms was born August, 1848 and died
March 9, 1912, aged 63 years, and about 7 months. In
his boyhood days he had a severe spell of dropsy followed
by rheumatism which held him as a victim till death. His burial
took place from Trinity with interment in the church yard,,
Rev. M. L. Pence conducting the services.
