Elmer E. “Junie” Adams Jr., 90, of Berwick died Oct. 11, 2018, at the Berwick Hospital Center.
Born Oct. 10, 1928, in Berwick, he was the son of the late Elmer E. and Blanch (Grasley) Adams.
He was employed by Garland Commercial Industries, Freeland, retiring in 1993.
He was a member of Evansville United Methodist Church.
Among his interests were bowling, hunting, fishing, watching cowboy movies, and watching the Philadelphia Phillies.
Preceding him in death are his three brothers: Dale, Ned, and Abram Adams; and a sister, Ethel Yohey.
Surviving are his wife of 68 years, the former Iva M. Bower; a son, Danny Adams, of Berwick; two daughters: Sharlyn, wife of Robert Bieber of Muncy, and Mary Ann, wife of Larry Knarr, of Hughesville; six grandchildren: Bradley and James Kishbaugh, Thomas Hausisen, Robert and Daniel Mordan, and Amber Knarr; 13 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Monday, Oct. 15, 2018, from 10 a.m. until the time of the services at 11 a.m. at the Mayo Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Chestnut St., Berwick, with the Rev. Cope, retired pastor, officiating.
Interment will be in Briar Creek Union Cemetery, Berwick.
