Obituary for Mildred "Memaw" Andrews
DIANA: Services for Mildred “Memaw” Andrews, 94, of Ore City will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Cedar Springs Baptist Church, with Reverend Jimmy Schexnayder officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana. Interment will follow at Coffeeville Cemetery. She passed away on October 11, 2018 at her residence.

Mildred was born September 24, 1924 in Ore City, Texas to Everett H. and Lois Armstrong. She was a homemaker and a cook at Catfish Village. Mildred was known for her wonderful cooking and her love for her family. She enjoyed making quilts and sewing and was a member of Cedar Springs Baptist Church.

Mildred is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Janice and Randy Hancock of Kilgore, Mary and Bobby Clawson of Ore City and Gina and Randy Tynes of Bossier City, LA., sisters: Terry Willis, Nell Armstrong and Clarene Armstrong, grandchildren: Kerry Duraso, Tammy Myers, Angie House, Bobby Lee Clawson, Paul Hancock and Will Brown, great-grandchildren: Rebecca Duraso, Chase House, Katherine Myers, Chandler House, Payton Myers, Morgan Clawson, Mason Clawson, Kyndall House and great-great grandchild: Ella Rose House.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 51 years, William Lee Andrews, Jr before his passing in 1998.

The family will receive visitors on Friday, October 12, 2018, 6-8 p.m. at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Diana.
