She was the twin daughter of Henry and Lillian Hagoort. Her first husband, Bert W. Justus, Jr. died during the Korean War as a Prisoner of War. They had 3 children. She later married Arthur E. Satterfield and had 1 daughter. Mary Grace was instrumental in the formation of the original Southern California Chapter of what is now the National Kitchen and Bath Assoc. and was the first woman to receive her certification as a Certified Kitchen Designer.(CKD)
