George D. Adams, 57 of Boylston, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at St. Vincent's Hospital.

George was born in Holden, the son of the late Donald F. and Ida M. (Fisher) Adams. He lived in Boylston all his life and was a long-time member of The First Congregational Church of Boylston. He graduated from Tahanto Regional High School and then attended classes at Plymouth State College. After college, George worked for the family business REFCO for many years. He then attended the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute "MMI" in Orlando, FL where he became a certified Harley-Davidson technician. George's garage at his house was frequented by many friends over the years and fondly became known as Rancho-Relaxo Motorsports. George and a group of friends who soon became family founded the Dirty Pigs Social Club.

George loved motorcycles (especially Harleys) and he drove a Harley-Davison Trike. He enjoyed being outdoors, going hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Red Knights Motorcycle Club, the Auburn Sportsman Club and the Worcester Pistol and Rifle Club in Boylston. He also volunteered as a hunter education instructor for Mass Wildlife. In his earlier years, George was a volunteer EMT and Firefighter for the town of Boylston.

George is survived by his beloved wife and best friend, Becky J. (Osper) Adams; two sisters-in-law, Marion Young and her husband Michael of Sturbridge and Joanne Hilyard and her husband Jeffrey of Worcester; four nieces, Bethany and Jessica Morrill, Amanda Tefft, her husband Dave and their two children, William and Timothy of North Brookfield, and Kristine Young of Holland; many other relatives and very close friends. He is predeceased by his sister, Cheryl J. Morrill, Esq. and his beloved dogs, Boo Boo, Bandit and Casey.

George's funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 10 am in First Congregational Church of Boylston, 10 Church St., Boylston. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Boylston. Relatives and friends are invited to a period of calling hours on Thursday, October 4th from 4-7 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of George to: MassWildlife Field Headquarters, 1 Rabbit Hill Road, Westborough, MA 01581.
