She was a member of South Haven Baptist Church. Gaveta traveled to many places with her husband while he was serving in the U.S. Air Force. While in Charleston, SC., she and George were active in the Eastern Star. Gaveta retired from Dayco in Springfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George Havens, three brothers, Ralph Buff Jr., Rex O. Buff and Tim Buff. Gaveta is survived by two daughters, Diane Webb, and Pam McKenna, two grandsons, Tyler and Katheleen Webb, Parker and Megan McKenna, three great-grandsons, James Webb, Patrick Webb and Brenden McKenna, two sisters, Edna Cromer and Yvonne Steffek, and brother, Ted and Marilyn Buff.
