Louderback, Rev. Dr. Lee Roy, born November 11, 1941, passed away June 23, 2014 at Harry Hynes Hospice in Wichita, Kansas after a four year valiant battle with Multiple Myeloma cancer. He was born in Aberdeen, Washington where he learned to love the ocean and out-of-doors. He lived a faith-filled life serving God as a pastor for thirty years for Presbyterian and United Methodist Churches in Nebraska, Los Angeles and Kansas before retiring in 2008. This beloved husband and father of six, grandfather of 16 and great-grandfather to 4 would be described as gentle, fun-loving and compassionate. For those who knew him best he would be called teacher, pastor, and friend. Preceding him in death were his parents, Chester and Roberta and one sister, Connie. He is survived by his wife, Linda; and children, Edith and four sons, Leah and two children, Maria and three children, Ken and four children, Amy and two children, Andrea and one child; sister, Colleen Sproul; and two brothers, Paul and Brian. A celebration of his life will take place at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, June 28, 2014 at First United Methodist Church.
