Carol was a former seamstress with Warner's and a charter member of the Old Time Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
On February 2, 1951, she united in marriage with Roy Glan Keys, who preceded her in death.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Phyllis Smith Bowling and a sister, Francis Little.
Survivors include six children, Patricia Lewis and husband, Dale, of Richmond, Sharon Warren and husband, Michael, Sandra Farmer and husband, Donald, and Milas Keys all of Gray, Charles Keys and wife, Sandra, of Barbourville and Roy Keys and wife, Penney, of Corbin; 10 grandchildren, Karen Fields, Kevin Smith, Kimberly Cavazos, David Warren, Christopher Warren, Leah Hamilton, Cynthia Beth Keys, Jessica Hensley, Charles Keys and Laura Ellen Keys; 12 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; among other loved ones and dear friends.
Her funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Monday, October 22 at 11 A.M. with Rev. Bobby Abner and Michael Warren officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Barbourville Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be her grandsons. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday between 6 and 9 P.M. and Monday prior to the funeral hour.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home.
