RALPH EUGENE JAY, age 70, of Warfordsburg, PA, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 surrounded by his family. Born May 11, 1948 in Artemas, PA, he was the son of the late Leo and Margaret Schetrompf Jay.

He was a member of Mays Chapel Christian Church in Warfordsburg, PA. Ralph graduated from Everett High School in Everett, PA. He retired as a mechanic from Morral Brothers Garage in Everett, PA. Ralph was the caretaker of Fairview Cemetery in Artemas, PA for nearly 20 years. Ralph enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandsons.

Ralph is survived by his wife of 45 years, Anna Viola Powell Jay at home, his children, Dianna Lynn Kerns and Barbara Nicole Vanorsdale, one brother, Gary Leo Jay, four grandsons, Samuel, Nathaniel, Charles and Landon; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at Mays Chapel Christian Church in Warfordsburg, PA. Burial will be in Fairview Church Cemetery in Artemas, PA.
