Age 77. Mr. Aeschliman died Sunday, December 3, 2000 in Livonia, MI. He was born July 30, 1923 in Wauseon, Ohio, the son of Ezra and Esther (Spieth) Aeschliman. Harold married Kathryn Leininger on June 8, 1947 at First Christian Church of Wauseon and she survives. Additional survivors include is children, Teresa (Martin) Hable of North Branch, MI, Kent (Pamela) Aeschliman of Pinckney, susan Jo Aeschliman of Whitmore Lake, Scott (Patricia) Aeschliman of Gregory, Beth (Tom) Snyder of Dexter, David (Vicki) Aeschliman of Whitmore Lake and Todd (Carrie) Aeschliman of Dexter; 24 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Harold loved and was loved by his family. Harold served his country in the Army-Air Force during WWII and had co-owned Aeschliman Equipment in Whitmore Lake since 1973. He was a member of the Dexter United Methodist church where he was one of the original "Dirty Dozen." Harold supported Food Gatherer's for many years with apples from his orchard. A Celebration of Harold's life will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 6, 2000 at Dexter Methodist Church with Rev. William Donahue officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to Manna Relief, a non-profit organization that provides relief to malnourished and sick in the world. Envelopes will be available at the Dexter United Methodist Church where family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday.
