BLACK-Mrs. Willie Adkins Black, 70, died yesterday afternoon at her home, 3232 Wabash avenue. She was the wife of William L. Black, a partner in the produce firm of Black & Froman, 415 Walnut street. She was born in Platte County. She had lived in Kansas City most of her life. She attended the Independence Boulevard Christian church. Besides her husband, she leaves three sisters, Mrs. Ella C. Froman, Trimble, Mo.; Mrs. B. F. Oldham, 3733 Broadway, and Mrs. Hattie Adair, 3115 Broadway, and a brother, J. D. Adkins, Platte City. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday at the Freem chapel; burial in Memorial Park cemetery.
