CARTERVILLE — Judith Gail Lavender died at 9:40 a.m. March 12, 2018, in Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born Aug. 27, 1966, in Herrin Hospital, to Roy and Sharon Lavender.
Judy worked at the Pinckneyville and Menard Correctional Facilities as a correctional officer.
She is survived by her parents; son, Dustin Fleming and granddaughter; and brothers, Matthew and wife, Heather, and Aaron and wife, Barbara.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Rebecca Clifford.
At her request, she was cremated and a celebration of life will be at a later dat
