"Timpson Rites -- Funeral services for George Hartsfield, 82, are to be held at 2 p.m. Sunday from the Egypt Baptist Church near Timpson. Rev. Huey Taylor, of Marshall, is to officiate. He died at his home on March 4 following a long illness. Surviving are four sons: Ray Hartsfield, of Lufkin, James Hartsfield, of Nacogdoches, A.C. Hartsfield, of Timpson, and Whit Hartsfield, of Garrison; and four daughters: Mrs. Lemerle Patton, of Nacogdoches, Mrs. Nnacy Lou Richards, of Lufkin, Mrs. Mamie Joe Greer and Mrs. Hattie Yarbrough, both of Timpson."
