Earline Burruss, 70, lifelong Lawton resident, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015, in Norman.
She was born July 8, 1945, in Lawton to Damon Roy and Geraldine Elizabeth Spencer Howeth. Mrs. Burruss had worked for Comanche County Memorial Hospital and Haggar Slacks.
Survivors include three children: Dana Burruss, Brenda Burruss-Cleland and her husband Donald, and Darrell Burruss; siblings and their spouses: Jeannie and Jimmie Hasley, Virgil Howeth, Janis Covington, Loretta and Jerry Londenberg, Teresa Moore, Charles Howeth and Larry Start. She is also survived by grandchildren: Charles Lee Ketner, Timothy Shane Ketner, Amber Wyatt, Anthony Brandon Beasley, Jessica Evans, Nicholas Pardon, Philip Schenker, Cheryl Morris, Bridgett Morris and Melissa Burruss; and numerous great-grandchildren; several loved in-laws and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Waunita Start, Mary Howeth and Janet Howeth; brother, Larry Moore; daughters: Tammie Chestnut and Georgeann Burruss; and a son, Damon Burruss.
