LEXINGTON - Mr. Ricky Wayne Cox, 53, a resident of 138 Carroll Street died Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem. He was born in High Point, July 16, 1958, a son of Bobby Cox and Barbara Fowler Cox. He was a former employee of Hilco Transport in Greensboro. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Turner Cox of the home; his parents, Bobby and Barbara Cox of High Point; four daughters, Karen Younger and her husband Cole of Trinity, Jessica Calloway and her husband Phillip, Donna Belote, and Ashley Chapel and her husband Mark, all of Lexington; a son, Kevin Ashton of Gainesville, Fl. Also surviving are six grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at Springfield Baptist Church in High Point by the Rev. Kevin Gerber.
