Mary G. "Mollie" Bond, age 95, a resident of Lancaster, Pennsylvania and formerly of Rydal, (Abington Township) PA died on October 13, 2018. She was the devoted wife of the late Charles C. Bond, Jr.
Born in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Raymond Gilbert and the late Mary Peck Gilbert.
Mollie graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree from The Pennsylvania State University where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority.
She is survived by her loving children: Stephanie Bond, Charles Carter Bond, III "Buzz" and his wife, Jacquelyn and Mark Bond; by 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 20, 2018, Helweg & Rowland Funeral Home, 1059 Old York Road, Abington, where relatives and friends will be received from 9:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Northwood Cemetery. A reception at Scoogi's Restaurant, 738 Bethlehem Pike, Flourtown, PA will follow the interment.
