The funeral of Mr. R. E. Lee, 64 years old, who died Thursday afternoon, was held Saturday afternoon, services being conducted by the Rev. H. M. King, pastor of the Second Baptist church and Dr. J. H. Lawrence. Interment was In Cedarlawn cemetery.
Mr. Lee, who came here from Greenville for treatment recently, is survived by a mother, Mrs. W. J. Lee, a resident of Jackson, a wife and two little girls and a sister. Although in ill health for sometime, Mr. Lee's death was a keen shock to members of his family and his many friends in Greenville.
