Mr. Joseph E. (Joe) Stephens age 57 of Clinton went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 24, 2018. He was a Graduate of Cumberland College in Williamsburg, KY. Joe enjoyed the fellowship of family reunions and sharing his knowledge this area’s history, and was a valued member of the Campbell County Historical Society. During the Summer months, Joe enjoyed socializing at the Oak Ridge City Pool. Preceded in death by Parents, Arlis Marion and Helen Nadine Heatherly Stephens, and Brother, John Arlis Stephens.



Survivors: Aunts, Maxine Stephens Jeffers, Sue Heatherly Miller, Bobbie Heatherly Kirkpatrick; Uncle, Evan Heatherly and Wife, Oma; Special Caretakers, Sue Ellen Nidiffer, Emily Russell, and Kathy Jeffers Smith; Several other cousins, relatives, and all the friends Joe met along his earthly journey.



Funeral Services Sunday 3:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Aiken officiating. Interment to follow at Bakers Forge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 P.M. to 3 P.M. Sunday before funeral services. The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to: Campbell County Historical Society, 235 East Central Ave., LaFollette, TN 37766.
