Lorene Moss, 90, of Red Boiling Springs, Tenn., died Jan. 27, 2003, at the Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette, Tenn.

She was a 52-year member of the Lafayette Eastern Star #379 and a member of the Lafayette Missionary Baptist Church.

Born in Macon County, she was a daughter of the late Harve and Tene Patterson and the wife of Eddy Clifton Moss, who died Nov. 13, 1985. They were married May 23, 1931.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Janelle and Harry Whitlow, Lafayette; a son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Becky Moss, Red Boiling Springs; two grandchildren, Linda Whittemore and Troy Moss, both of Lafayette; two step-grandchildren, Miranda Francis, Lafayette, and Blake Francis, Red Boiling Springs; and three great-grandchildren, Lynsey and Ryan Whittemore, both of Lafayette, and Brad Whittemore, Red Boiling Springs.

Burial was at the Anderson and Son Memorial Park.

Serving as pallbearers were: Troy Moss, Blake Francis, Brad and Terry Whittemore, and Harry Whitlow.
