Dale Kenneth McNabb, age 71, of Rogersville, passed away Tuesday (10/23/18) at Holston Valley Medical Center. He was a member of Kincaid United Methodist Church where he served as Sunday School Superintendent. He received bachelor and masters degrees from ETSU. He was employed as a teacher and principal at Keplar Elementary and Surgoinsville Middle Schools, and was a member of the Hawkins County Retired Teachers Association.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Mary Kate McNabb; father and mother-in-law, Homer and Jessie Reeves; brother-in-law, Ronald Reeves; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Jean McNabb; daughter, Theresa Eidson (Marty); grandchildren, Cody Eidson (Emillie), Cameron Eidson, and Cole Eidson; sister, Geraldine Carter (William); brother, Wayne McNabb (Nancy); brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Janice Reeves; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm Saturday (10/27/18) at Christian-Sells Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at Hawkins County Memorial Gardens with Rev. Tom Stanton and Rev. Susan Arnold officiating.
