Michael C. Coots, 55, of Logansport, passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at VNA Hospice Center in Valparaiso, IN. Michael was born on July 31, 1963 in Gary, IN, to Randall C. Coots and Gloria J. (Dyer) Holeman.
Surviving are his parents, Gerald and Gloria Holeman of Union Mills; brother, David L. Coots of Sandusky, OH; stepbrothers, Gerald D. (Lori) Holeman of Duluth, MN and Jeff L. (Chris) Holeman of Indianapolis; aunts, Phyllis A. Leimbacher of Valparaiso and Linda Dyer of Greenwood; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his uncle, Tom A. Dyer and grandparents, Sidney A. and Anne R. Dyer Michael was an athlete in the Special Olympics and enjoyed swimming, bowling, horseshoes.
Burial will follow at Union Mills Cemetery.
