John Edward Carlisle, 78, a resident of Lagan, Cache County, Utah of 55 years, died March 27, 1936 at 3 p.m. in The Budge Memorial Hospital in Logan, Utah of a cardiac ambolism.
He was born March 4, 1858 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Margaret Kewley Carlisle and John G. Carlisle. John married Eliza Caroline Goodrich on October 13, 1885 in Logan, Utah. Three years after they married Eliza got cancer and died. He then married Emma Lettice Jennings January 3, 1889. He married third, Clara E. Crandall September 1, 1892. Surviving him is his wife, Clara.
For a time he was in the Presidency of the Logan Temple. Interment was made in the Logan City Cemetery on March 30, 1936. Lindquist & Sons handled the funeral arrangements.
