Mr. Wyatt was the son of the late Mack and Malissa Bailey Wyatt and was a native of Yancey County, North Carolina. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wyatt was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Greene Wyatt on April 10, 2000, two brothers, Clarence and Milo and three sisters, Nora, Mae and Lillie of Yancey County, NC.
Mr. Wyatt was an honorably discharged veteran of WWII having served in the US Navy Seabees (Construction Division). He was retired from TVA where he worked as a crane operator and he was a member of IUOE Local #917 of Chattanooga, TN. He and his late wife were both members of Doe River Baptist Church.
Mr. Wyatt is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Earl and Janet Wyatt, Johnson City; Dennis and Sheila Wyatt, Cleveland, TN and a grandson and his wife, Chris and Danielle Wyatt of Conover, NC. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
The graveside service and interment will be conducted on Saturday, May 11, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Military honors will be accorded by Capt. Lynn H. Folsom VFW Post #2166.
