Garry Layne King, 55, of Navarre, Florida passed away on Wednesday February 19, 2014.
He was born June 9, 1958 in Richmond. Garry graduated from T.C. Roberson High School in 1977 and received his Bachelor’s degree in Aviation/Aerospace Safety and Master’s degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry Riddle University in 2003 and 2011.
He retired from the Air Force having served honorably from 1980 to 2003. Garry worked for Lockheed Martin at the 19th Special Operations Squadron Aircrew Training Center from 2003 forward. Garry loved his family, friends and the Air Force. He was passionate about politics and enjoyed researching his ancestry.
