Callie Vianna Ferguson, 93, passed away on June 9, 2011 at her home in Waco. Funeral services will be at 3:00 pm Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Blair Stubbs Chapel in Mexia. Rev. Michael Vestal officiating. Interment will be in LaSalle Cemetery.

Visitation with family will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at Blair Stubbs Funeral Home.

Callie was born July 29, 1917 in Freestone County, Texas to Oscar and America Jane Ezell Allison. She was a seamstress and a homemaker. She devoted her life to caring for her family. Callie was a member of Concord Baptist Church in Bellmead.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Recil Ferguson and her son, Tommie Ferguson.

Survivors include her children, Clarence Ferguson and wife, Carmelitta, Everlyn Clark and husband, Jack, James Ferguson and wife, Linda, Betty Tabor, Callie Lanford and husband, Larry, Bobbie McCormick and husband, Gary, all of Waco. Jearl Ferguson and wife, Karen of Austin and Recil Ferguson Jr. And wife, Cindy of Mt Calm; 28 grandchildren; 61 great grandchildren; 19 great great grandchildren and sister, Lois Roberts of Houston.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Pridemore, Russell Bullock, William Busch Jr., Louis Tabor, Johnny Ferguson, Robert Ferguson, Steve Ferguson and Jeffery Ferguson.
