Aaron was born on June 21, 1971, in Chanute, Kansas, to Howard and Lola Guiou Shively.
Aaron grew up in Benedict and graduated from Fredonia High School. He received an Associate Degree as a Specialist Painter. He went to work for Vic Yarrington Oldsmobile. He had also worked for Meier’s Ready Mix. He worked nuclear outage for DZ Atlantic from 2004 -2012, before he was hired in house at the Wolf Creek Nuclear Plant as a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor.
Aaron married Joyce Ann Smith, on September 28, 1996, in Holton.
Aaron was preceded in death by his father, Howard.
Aaron is survived by his mother, Lola Shively, Benedict, his wife, Joyce, of the home, two daughters, Desirae (Levi) Goodell, Lebo, and Bonnie Rae Shively, New Strawn, two brothers, Eric W. Shively, Charlotte, NC, and Howard (Jolynn) Shively, Jr., Benton Ridge, OH, three grandchildren, Natalie Ray Strawder, Nash Aaron Goodell, and Rue Caroline Goodell, other relatives and friends.
Memorial Services will be at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, January 27, 2018, at the Lebo Baptist Church, Lebo, KS. Contributions may be made to the Burlington High School Wrestling or Fredonia High School Wrestling, and may be sent it care of Jones Funeral Home, P.O. Box 277, Burlington, KS 66839.
