IN A CEREMONY PERFORMED recently by Rev. D. L. Bomboy, of Bloomsburg, Miss Donna Jean Ikeler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Ikeler, Bloomsburg RD 4, became the bride of Mr. William C. Laubach, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Laubach, Bloomsburg.

Attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Deitrick, Bloomsburg.

Bride is employed at Thompson Products, Danville. Her husband is employed at Snyder's Dairy, Bloomsburg. The couple is residing on Leonard street, Bloomsburg.

Historical Society volunteer, genealogy buff

Donna J. (Ikeler) Laubach, age 81, of 377 E. Fifth St., Bloomsburg, passed away at 5:45 a. m. Monday, October 29, 2018, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, with her family by her bedside.

She was born in Mount Pleasant Township on March 19, 1937, a daughter of the late Alfred E. and Fannie A. (Crawford) Ikeler. She resided in Bloomsburg most of her life and was a 1955 graduate of Bloomsburg High School.

Donna was a member of Canby Lutheran Church, Millertown. She also was very active as a member of the Columbia County Historical & Genealogical Society, where she spent many hours as a volunteer. She was especially interested in genealogy.

In addition to her parents, whew was preceded in death by four sisters: Betty B. Lizardi, Florence Zoe Faux, Bonnie B. Ikeler, and an infant, Helen Dean Ikeler; and also by three brothers: Donald A. Ikeler, Larry C. Ikeler, and an infant, Phillip Ikeler.

Surviving is her husband, William C. "Bill" Laubach, with whom she celebrated her 61st wedding anniversary on March 7, 2018; three daughters: Phyllis, wife of Michael Klinetob, Berwick; Roxanne Hollingsworth, Bloomsburg; Heather Anne, wife of Louis Huber, Millville; a grandson, Michael Logan Klinetob, Berwick; and a brother, Larry C. Ikeler, and his wife Lucille, Parkton, Md.

A celebration of her life gathering will be held at a time and place to be announced.

Friends may remember Donna with a contribution to the Canby Lutheran Church, 529 Millertown Road, Bloomsburg, PA 17815.
