Precious Lorraine Antoinette was born 28 March 1985. The Doctors are not certain why or how she passed away. i have read & reread her hospital transcripts & i suspect AIDs from a blood transfusion @ 3 days of life. Lorraine had a seisure @ 3 weeks of life. Had Lorraine lived after the seisure, she would have been blind, deaf, retarded, fed with a tube as she had no motor skills & had little quality of life, her head grew 6 inches in 2.5 weeks. God is merciful in taking her home. Lorraine was 6 weeks premature & weighed 5.1, she had jaundice & received a transfusion & UV lights @ 3 days of life. At birth she had double 9s on her APGAR score. i am convinced it was the transfusion that killed her. i had offered my own blood, as any mommy would, but i was denied because i had just given birth 3 days prior. i was there when the Lord took her home & she felt loved. After she passed away, i bathed her & dressed her. The autopsy revealed severe encephalitis (water on the brain). i call my Precious Lorraine, "The Little Hiccup", because when she was under the bilirubin lights in her diaper, she would hiccup & she was so small, so frail, her ribcage would sink in....terrifingly so. i found out when babies hiccup....they r growing. i know U r with the Lord God Almighty & we will be 2gether when i 2 meet the Lord. U r precious 2 me & not an hour of a day goes by without me thinking of U, missing U, loving U.
Lorraine Antoinette Maupin passed away 16 May 1985...she was due 2 be born on the 15th of May. God gave me 7 glorious weeks 2 spend with her. In the picture on the grave with the hand is Ur brother born 4 years after & meeting U 4 the 1st time. Any type of rememberance is appreciated.
