He was a member of Clarksville Masonic Lodge No. 89, Masonic Order Clarksville Royal Arch Masons Lodge No.3 P.H.P., Cryptic Masons P.I.M., Knights Templar-Clarksville Commandery No. 8 P.C., White Shrine of Jerusalem P.W.O.S. Shrine No. 4, Order of Eastern Star P.P. Clarksville Chapter 202OES, Order of Amaranth P.G.R.P., P.R.P. Parthenon Court No. 9, 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason, Al Menah Temple, Clarksville Scottish Rite Club P.P. He served in the U.S. Army as a Chief Warrant Officer 3.
Preceded in death by wife, Fran Anderson. Survived by daughter, Clarice Downey (Jack); granddaughter, Tina Perez (Fernando); great-grandsons, Dominic and Benjamin Perez.
