"Rev. Thomas, D.D., born in 1591; educated at Christ Church, Oxford, B.A. 1611, M.A. 1614; Fellow of Merton College, B.D. 1622; D.D. of Cambridge 1625; incorporated at Oxford 1645; rector of Pagelsham, 1625. Winbish, 1626, and Debden, 1629 (all in Co. Essex); canon of St. Paul's and of Westminster Cathedrals, London, 1625-1660."

"He married in 1617, Anne _______. Children:

1. Edmund, was bequeathed lands in Pershore, Co. Worcester, by his uncle, Dr. Edmund Wilson.

2. Rev. Grindall, born about 1633; mentioned in the will, in 1679, of his cousin Rev. Grindal Sheaffe, D.D., matriculated at Trinity College, Oxford, June 5, 1651; [2]vicar of twining, co. Gloucester, in 1665, Vicar of Dymoke, co. Gloucester, from 1667 until his death in 1715."

Thomas's elder brother, Edmund, mentions Thomas in Edmund's last will and testament, dated 1663.

Rev. Thomas died April 1664 at London, and his remains were buried 12 April 1664.

Note: Thomas did not have a half brother, also named Thomas. The Find A Grave Memorial for the Thomas Wilson, #170901466 was attached to Rev. Dr. William Wilson in error. This Thomas, born 1564, was born nearly a decade before Rev. William Wilson and Isabel Woodhall were married.
