1 Jul 2005: Marian A. Boyer, 69, Ephrata, died of natural causes June 29 at 11 a.m. in Ephrata Manor following a lengthy illness. Her husband, Daniel L. Boyer, died Jan. 25. Born in Mohnton, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Esther (Schnable) Stover. Boyer was employed for 12 years as a proofreader by Science Press, Ephrata, and was last employed for 12 years by Tapsco, Akron, Lancaster County, retiring in 1990. Surviving are sister Kathryn (Stover) Leisey, Ephrata; brother Donald Stover, Silver Spring, MD; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by son Dennis D. Boyer and daughter Sharon Elaine (Boyer) Althouse. Private memorial service in Good Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Reamstown, Lancaster County. Inurnment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
