Mary was the 4th child of Johanna and Cornelius Shea.
The first known census record is 1860. She is married to William Mayberry and has one child (Agnes) listed in the census. Her brother (Dennis) is living with them along with unknown people. By 1870 the family moved to Ohio and a 2nd child (Henry Marquit) is in the census. There is no further information on Mary, her husband or their daughter Agnes.

In Bartholomew's probate documents, it states "Mary Maybury, a sister, who died upwards of twenty five years ago and left her surviving a son by the name of Henry Marquet Maybury, who resides in San Francisco, Calif".

Bart died in 1897 so that would put Mary's death approximately in 1872. but it did state "upwards of 25 years ago", so it could have been in 1871. I could not locate an 1880 census record on the family.

In Bart's probate documents- he makes mention of Mary's son (Henry). It's is apparent that the Shea family did not know Henry had passed away 8 months earlier (Sep 1896). Why no mention of Agnes in the probate documents?

Mary's son- Henry lived in San Francisco. He was a Baker. He died on 25 Sep 1896. In his obit it states "Henry Mayberry, beloved brother of Mrs. A. St xx aman, a native of Michigan, age 32 years". It is unknown what he died from. In no other documents (probate, etc) does it make mention of Agnes (daughter of Mary). The obit is smeared so it's impossible to know the spelling of her last name.

At the time of Mary's death her son would have been about 7 years and Agnes would have been about 13 years. It's possible they went to live with relatives.

I do not know the final resting place of Mary, her husband or daughter Agnes.
