Stout, Pauline M., 93, formerly of Smithfield, WV, passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at the New Martinsville Center. She was a member of the St. James United Methodist Church in Smithfield. She was born September 24, 1925 in Booth, WV, the daughter of the late William Frank and Lora S. (Price) Edgell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene “Gene” Stout, infant twin sons, and two brothers, Clifford and William Edgell. Surviving is her daughter, Cathy (Richard Dotta) Morris of New Martinsville, WV, a brother-in-law, Forrest “Bud” Stout, a niece, Debra Edgell of Wallace, WV, and several cousins. Friends will be received on Sunday from 2-6 PM at Palmer Funeral Home, Pine Grove, WV, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 AM.
