Mrs. Dickey was born September 23, 1950 in Memphis. She received her education in the Shelby County Public School System and continued her education at Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. She was married in 1973 to James Ronald Dickey, who preceded her in death on November 20, 2006. She was a homemaker throughout her life and a lifelong resident of West Tennessee. Mrs. Dickey was a member of Hope Presbyterian Church in Memphis.
Mrs. Dickey is survived by her daughter, Caroline Dickey of Memphis; three sons, Clinton Dickey of Moscow, Clifton Dickey of Moscow, Clayton Dickey (Roxanne) of LaGrange; and two sisters, Marcia Anderson of Moscow and Andrea Young of Ohio.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Meachum Young.
Casketbearers will be family members and friends and the family requests that memorials be directed to the church, charity or organization of the donor’s choice.
