Passed away Sunday at home.

Daughter of Herbert and Carrie Irvin Chapman.
Married John "Jack" Stephenson July 1, 1948. He preceded her in death May 18, 1987.
Survivors include daughters Becky Robinson, Sally (Richard) Cotten, Susie Johnson, Jackie (Terry) Smith, Lori (Tommie) Hall and Bobbi (Brian) Joiner; son Howard "Chico" Stephenson; 29 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; nephews, nieces and friends.
She was also preceded in death by daughter Rita Wise, one brother and three sisters.

Attended Crawfordsville schools.

Mrs. Stephenson was a member of the Eagles and the Legion. She waitressed at several places and cleaned the schools in the summer, but had most recently and for many years, helped at the Eagles Club, checking ID for members at the door. She loved to play Bingo and go to gamble. She had attended Grace & Mercy.

Services 11am Thursday, November 8 at Burkhart Funeral Home.
Visitation 4-8pm Wednesday.
