Mrs. Judy Kay (Fosnight) Amos, age 74, of Hartford City, Indiana, entered this life on October 15, 1943, in Indianapolis, Indiana, daughter of the late, Oscar Jay and Gail Bernice (Schafer) Fosnight. She was raised in Knightstown, Indiana where she attended high school. Judy was united in marriage on February 24, 1964, in Hartford City, Indiana, to the late, John Thomas Amos. Judy and John shared 48 years of marriage together until John passed away on April 16, 2012. Judy was employed as a cook for Roxano's Restaurant in Vevay, Indiana, from 1987 to 2000. She was later employed in housekeeping for Belterra Casino & Resort in Florence, Indiana, for one year. Judy resided in Hartford City, Indiana and later moved to Vevay, Indiana in 1985. In 2013, Judy moved to the Hartford City, Indiana community where she resided until her passing. Judy was a wonderful homemaker and will be deeply missing by her loving family. Judy passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018, at the Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana.

Survivors: son, Jim Amos and his wife: Connie of Hudson, IN; daughter, Sandy Skeens of Hartford City, IN; step-daughters, Carolyn Garrett and her husband: Dan of Hartford City, IN and Paula Myers of TN; step-son, Johnny Amos of Hartford City, IN; grandchildren, Linda Umminger, Amanda (Karl) Ross, Miranda Garrett, Angela Stewart, Blaine (Mandy) Williams, Try An (Anthony) Mitzner, Abby Skeens and Jeremiah Skeens; her great-grandchildren, Justina Carmichael, Jerrick Umminger, Jazzilyn Umminger, Kaiden Ross, LyraRen Mitzner, Harrison Williams, Colton Ellis, Quinn Parsons, Donovan Stewart and Johnathan Williams; great-great-grandchildren, Chaston, Brantley and Kenzleigh; her sister, Mary Moore of Muncie, IN and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: parents; husband; brothers, Charles Fosnight, Larry Wright, Ronald Lee Fosnight, Ed Fosnight, Oscar Fosnight and Paul Mosier; sisters, Jane Hatfield, Nellie Kidd, Pat Bell, Bernice Fosnight and Barbara Fosnight and great-grandson, Jaston Thomas Umminger, died in 1996.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 19, 2018, at 1:00 pm, by Dan Morgan, at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home, 208 Ferry Street, Vevay, Indiana 47043.

Interment will follow in the Vevay Cemetery, Vevay, Indiana.
