Charlene was born in Cooperton, Oklahoma, on January 15, 1937. The family moved to Shamrock, Texas, in the same year. She has lived in Arlington since 1960 and was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, prayer warrior, gardener, wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker, and friend to all who met her. From her table, many pots of spaghetti and homemade meat sauce were served to all who came by hungry. She loved everyone in her family dearly.
Charlene also enjoyed researching her family's history and meeting relatives she did not previously know. She and her husband, Elbert, were members of Mid-City Genealogy Society. They also enjoyed gardening together, touring the gardens of others, and hosting their own plant sale each spring. She loved her church family at Park Springs Bible Church, where they worshiped together and were part of the OWLS class.
Charlene was preceded in death by her first husband John A. Guadagnolo, Sr., her step-daughter Ramona Hawkins, her father and mother Charles Henry Coe and Mattie Oma Walters Coe, and five siblings.
She is survived by her husband Elbert Seal, her brother Johnny Duwayne Coe; her sweet sister, Juanita Dyess; children, Tony Guadagnolo and wife Beverly (Dr. Gary Guadagnolo and wife Catherine, Ryan and wife Britainy), and Mike Guadagnolo and wife Jackie (Zane and Grace); step-daughters Denise McCaskill and husband Scott (Michelle Roy and husband Andrew, Lance and Collin), Lori Massey and husband Todd (Hunter, Justin and wife Chanci, Dakota, and Savannah); step-son John Guadagnolo, Jr.; daughter-in-law Kathy Jones (Dr. Ashleigh Guadagnolo, Anthony Guadagnolo and wife Jennie Beth); son-in-law Darrel Hawkins (Dr. Brent Hawkins and wife Hollye, Dr. Jennifer Coffman and husband Heath); and eleven great-grandchildren and many beloved extended family members and friends. Charlene had love and prayers for them all.
