Victoria Garcia
January 8, 1931 - November 4, 2018

Victoria Garcia passed away on Monday, November 4, 2018 at the age of 87. She was born in Tantoyuca Veracruz, Mexico, on January 8, 1931 to Alfonso and Coleta Del Angel. In 1950 Victoria met Rafael Garcia, married and moved to Visalia, California, where they raised their two children.
Our mother was an amazing woman, she taught us the importance of a strong work ethic and the value of a good education. Her faith was strong even on her last days.
Victoria loved to cook her traditional meals, her shrimp soup, aroz con pollo, rasberry/strawberry jello, which none of us could master or even come close. Mom would spend her leisure time knitting, and watching soccer with Dad. Mom enjoyed gardening, her favorite plants were her roses and azaleas.
Victoria was a loving Abuelita (grandmother). She adored her grandchildren and her great grandchildren, whom she loved very much.
Victoria is survived by her sisters Nelva Del Angel, Aracely Del Angel, Maria Elena Del Angel, brothers Alfonso Del Angel, Alejandro Del Angel, her two children Rafael Garcia Jr, his wife Molly, Sonia Garcia Sepulveda, her husband Luis, her four grandchildren Adriana Garcia, Amelinda Garcia Bowman, her husband Abram, Andrea Garcia, Daniel Sepulveda, and two great grandchildren Landen Garcia and Alena Garcia Bowman.
Viewing will be held Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Salser and Dillard Funeral Chapel from 4pm to 7pm and a Rosary will be at 6pm. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Friday, November 9, 2018 at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 10am and followed by a graveside service at Visalia District Cemetery.
