Orvil Childress, 65 of Brodhead, Kentucky died Friday, November 2, 2018 at UK Hospital. He was the husband of Sharlene Sue Gaddis Childress whom he married February 16. 1971. Born December 31, 1952 in Somerset, Kentucky the son of the late Earl and Bronieth Nicely Childress. He was a retired equipment operator for the Rockcastle County Road Department. He was a member of Poplar Grove Baptist Church. He was a member of the Somerset Masonic Lodge # 111 of F & AM. He was also a Yorkrite and a Shriner of the Oleika Temple in Lexington, KY.
