The death date for Philena on her grave marker is currently below ground and not visible. She was alive on the 1870 census, and I cannot find her in 1880, so she probably died sometime between 1870 and 1880. (There is a photo of the marker on her husband's memorial.)
Philena's birth date on our family tree is March 29, 1833. I believe she was a twin with her brother George, who is shown with a birth date of March 1833 on the 1900 census. Their father died in August 1832, before they were born, so it can't have been much later than March!
Philena was born in Erie County, Pennsylvania, but her husband, Stephen Davis, was from Delaware County, New York, and Philena and Stephen were living there when their son Clinton was born in 1849. By 1850, they had returned to Erie County, Pennsylvania, where they remained for some time. Both Stephen and his wife died while living with their son in Ohio, but the were buried, near Philena's family, here.
Stephen Davis was a farmer, and later was a worker in a saw mill. Their son Clinton was their only surviving child. In the 1870s Clinton moved to Portage County, Ohio, where he married his wife Julia and remained for the rest of his life. He and Julia had no children.
Philena's parents and sister Pamela are also buried in Wesleyville Cemetery.
