Mrs. Angeline Young, nee Perrigo, daughter of Johnathon and Caroline (Keokuk) Perrigo, was born in Jacksonville, Ill. in the year of 1850, and passed away at her home in north part of Kahoka, Mo., March 9, 1927 aged 76 years,6 months and 11 days.
She was united in marriage to Nicholas Young in the year of 1865 and to this union were born thirteen children. The husband preceded her in death in 1913, the following children have preceded their mother in death; George, in 1899; Anna Young Howell, 1898; Albert in 1912; Henry in 1912; Lynn, in 1918; also Caroline and Flora who died in infancy.
Those surviving are the following John and Jesse of Kahoka; Charles Adam of Batavia Iowa∼ANGELINE YOUNG, born in Jacksonville, Morgan County, Illinois the daughter of Jonathan PERRIGO, SR. and Mary Caroline Ann KEOKUK; wife of Nicholas YOUNG:

MRS. ANGELINE E. YOUNG passed away at her home in North Kahoka, Missouri March 9th, 1927 at 2:00P.M. aged nearly 77. She had lived in Kahoka for 21 years, coming here from Jefferson Township. She leaves fives sons John, Joe, Nin, Charley and Jesse. One daughter Mrs. Nan Salyers. She was a kind, good, loving Mother, friendly and neighborly. The services were held from the home today Friday March 11th, 1927 at 2P.M.
