She was united in marriage to Nicholas Young in the year of 1865 and to this union were born thirteen children. The husband preceded her in death in 1913, the following children have preceded their mother in death; George, in 1899; Anna Young Howell, 1898; Albert in 1912; Henry in 1912; Lynn, in 1918; also Caroline and Flora who died in infancy.

MRS. ANGELINE E. YOUNG passed away at her home in North Kahoka, Missouri March 9th, 1927 at 2:00P.M. aged nearly 77. She had lived in Kahoka for 21 years, coming here from Jefferson Township. She leaves fives sons John, Joe, Nin, Charley and Jesse. One daughter Mrs. Nan Salyers. She was a kind, good, loving Mother, friendly and neighborly. The services were held from the home today Friday March 11th, 1927 at 2P.M.

Mrs. Angeline E. Young, daughter of Jonathan and Caroline Perrigo was born in Jacksonville, Ill. in the year of 1850 and passed away at her home in North part of Kahoka, Mo. March 9th, 1927 aged 76 years 6 months and 11 days. She was married to Nicholas Young in the year 1865 and to this union were born thirteen children. Her husband preceded her in death in 1914. The following children preceded their Mother in death, George, in 1899, Anna (Young) Howell in 1898, Albert in 1912, Henry in 1912, Lynn in 1918, and Caroline and Flora who died in infancy. Those surviving are the following: John, Joseph, and Jesse all of Kahoka, Charles of Batavia, Ia., Mrs. Nan Salyers of Keokuk, Ia. , also 42 grandchildren, besides many other relatives.
Early in life she accepted Christ as her Savior and united with the Methodist Church. May the Lord comfort the sorrowing ones. The services were conducted by Rev. H.E. Marshall at the home, Friday March 11, 1927 at 2:00P.M. after which the remains were laid to rest in the Kahoka Cemetery.
