Mr. Beahan died on Saturday morning after a brief illness of pneumonia. He was a native of King's county, New York, and removed to Hawley when . youth. About twenty-five years p he established his residence at Carbondale and had lived here since that time. During his stay in this city. he took an active part in athletics. Deceased was a member of St. Rose church
Mr. Beahan is survived by his widow and the following daughters and sons: Mrs. Mary O'Hara, Geraldine, James Jr.. Joseph, Leo, Paul, Charles, Thomas, and Eugene Beahan; a sister. Mrs. Delia Garland, Port Jervis, N. Y., and a brother. Peter Beahan, Hawley.
