Rita Bizzell, 76, of Louisville, passed away on Wednesday, November 7th, 2018.
She was a Loving Mother and a Technical Librarian for Sud-Chemie. Rita graduated in 1964 from St. Mary of the Woods College in Terre Haute, Indiana. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Northeast YMCA, where she enjoyed swimming and playing bridge with many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James R. And Catherine Martin and two brothers, James P. Martin and John H. Martin.
Rita is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Frank A. Bizzell, Jr., four sons, Jim Bizzell, Mike Bizzell (Karen), John Bizzell (Michelle) and Tom Bizzell, three daughters, Mary Catherine Burns (Mike), Genevieve Freeman (David) and Nancy Neumann (James), 9 grandchildren, three sisters, Totsy Landers, Ann McManus and Terry Morse and one brother, Mike Martin (Staci).
Visitation will be Sunday, November 11, 2018 from 2PM to 6PM, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd, 40205. Her Funeral Mass will be Monday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 212 Mt. Mercy Drive, Pewee Valley, KY 40056, with burial to follow at St. Aloysius Cemetery.
