Joseph H. McGinn Born to eternal life on November 7, 2018 at the age 94.

Beloved husband of the late Loraine L. (Nee Berghammer). Loving father of Kathleen M. (David Stifter) Ellis, the late Patrick T. (Diane) and the late Mary L. McGinn. Dear grandfather of Keith F. Ellis, Ryan P. (Jennifer) McGinn and Matthew T. (Laura) McGinn. Special great grandfather of Hailey Renee, Emma Rose and Mason Patrick. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

A Milwaukee native, Joe was graduated from Washington High School and Marquette University Law School. Joe was the third of three brothers who served in WWII, serving in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater in the signal corps until from 1944-1946. Joe and Loraine, the love of his life, were founding members of St. Joseph’s parish in the early 1960’s. They enjoyed many years at the cabin up north and on the beach in Florida. A well-respected attorney he finished his career as Principal Assistant City Attorney for Milwaukee.

Visitation on Monday, November 12, 2018 at the Funeral Home from 5 PM until the time of Vigil Service at 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 12130 W. Center St., Wauwatosa at 10 AM. Please meet at church. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
