"James R. Thompson was a stone mason by trade. He lived on the Hiel Scott farm and in the hotel. He lived here from 1848 until after 1851. He moved to Toledo. He had a daughter whose name was Georgie Emma Sarah Sabrina and her mother always used the full name when addressing her."

Mrs. G. E. Thomas died at her home in Fairfield, last Wednesday. Her remains will be brought to Wahoo for burial Friday afternoon, burial at the Sunrise Cemetery. Mrs. Thomas was formerly a resident of this vicinity.
