Sarah Eliza Hays oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Hays was born in Franklin, Missouri, September 16th 1864 and died at the home of her mother in Pleasanton, Kansas on August 1st 1925.
When but a small child she moved with her parents to Johnson Co., Kansas later moving to Linn Co., Kansas here on the 4th day of December 1881. She was married to P. W. Oliver at Trading Post Kansas he departed this life March 12th 1912. She was again married July 1916 to T. B. Oliver of Virgil, Kansas. He preceding her in death February 2, 1925. She leaves to mourn her loss her aged mother, three sisters, two brothers, three sons, one daughter, three step children, and nineteen grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in the M. E. church at Madison, Kansas and interment made in Prairie Light Cemetery Monday July 8, 1925.
