George Alton Frensley, 84 of Port Arthur died Thursday at Oak Groves Nursing Home.
He was born in Groesbeck and was a resident of Port Arthur for 69 years. He retired from Texaco, where he worked as a clerk with 47 years of service. He was a member of First Christian Church, Cosmopolitan Lodge No. 872 A.F. & A.M., Royal Arch, Eastern Star No. 262 and was a 32nd degree Mason.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with the Rev. Neil Lindley and the Rev. Bill Hauck officiating.Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Graveside rites will be performed by Cosmopolitan Lodge No. 872 at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife, Bernice and three sisters, Marguerite Ciccosanti of Winnie, Katherine Herrin of Bryan and Marie Hall of Port Arthur.
