Peggy Jeanne Beveridge, of Katy Road, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018, at the United Hospital Center in Clarksburg. She was born in Mannington, a daughter of the late Thomas and Zelma Watson Longstreth.

Peggy was the owner-operator of the Cotton Patch in Farmington for over 25 years, and was well known for her famous homemade potato salad. She loved cooking on Sundays and Thursdays for her family, traveling and baking. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children: Tammy (Donnie) Wells of Katy Road and Terry Beveridge (Theresa Brown) of Idamay; 5 grandchildren: Nicole (Jermaine) Turner, Chad Beveridge, Michael Angelucci, Melissa Angelucci, and Hannah Muzichuck; 8 great grandchildren: Lilly and T.J. Beveridge, Emily Belch, Cyrus, America, and Zaakii Turner, Charles and Chase Colanero;3 sisters: Lorraine Yeager of Mannington, Brenda (Roy) Toothman of Mannington, and Linda Longstreth of Fairmont; a brother: Robert (Agnes) Longstreth of Farmington; son-in-law: Brad Hibbs, Farmington; several nieces and nephews, and a good friend: Larry Downs of Farmington.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Leon Beveridge, who passed away June 17, 2008; a son: Jamie Beveridge, a daughter: Dana Hibbs, a daughter-in-law: Pennie Beveridge, a son-in-law: Bruce Muzichuck, sisters: Beverly Matthews and Kay Fincham, brother: Phillip Longstreth, and a dear friend: Bill Harbert.
Friends may call at the Hutson Funeral Home, 3171 Husky Highway on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m. with Pastors Ira Timmons and Chad Hutson officiating. Interment will follow at the Parrish Run Cemetery.
