Mrs. Ethel Hey, wife of Floyd Hey, died Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at her home in Chanute. She had been critically ill for over a month and the end has been expected momentarily for a couple of weeks. Tuberculosis was the cause of death. Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, one aged 2 years and another 2 months. M. K. Beymer of Dearing is father of deceased. They formerly lived in Dearing. The body was shipped to Dearing for burial, arriving on the 4:20 interurban car from Cherryvale on Monday afternoon. The funeral was held from the U. B. church this afternoon, Rev. Chambers officiating. Burial was made in the Robbins cemetery.
